Chicago Home recently did a story on a Saugatuck cottage that is (second) home to Steve Bruss and Frank Goldstin, the couple behind Hudson Home. Goldstin describes the cottage's look as "cabin in the woods with mid-century and Asian flair".
Our favorite part of the piece? The photos of the inspired use of vintage wall decor.
Here, a fabulous metal wall hanging from the Edgewater Antique Mall hangs above a family cabinet.

In this vignette, Asian wall panels from the sixties were purchased at the Ravenswood Antique Mart. These are hung horizontally for a change of pace from the norm, giving them a very different, updated look.
More photos from this article are online (and in the May/June issue hardcopy, naturally) - check them out.

I want to spend a weekend there!
i just love the artful arrangement of objects/accessories , very well edited and purposeful. I am constantly rearranging, removing and adding to strike that balance.
