Meet the Novogratzes

On the move. I suppose if you grew up one of nine or one of seven children, you hardly sneeze at having six children of your own. Cookie takes us into the world of the Novogratzes - parents Cortney and Robert and their brood of six children, including two sets of twins.

The Novogratzes make their living buying and refurbishing buildings, which they typically live in first. In one year they moved three times - though it may be harder to get the kids to part with their rooftop basketball court/playground this time around.

Recently I caught the show "Kids By the Dozen" on TLC, twice. I could not stop watching, it was so fascinating to see how these families do it. I have one toddler and I am exhausted by the end of the day. But it made me think - what would my life be like with a brood, a real honest-to-goodness troop of kids. Somehow they manage financially and emotionally and they are living the life they wanted. There was not a single word of regret by any of the parents or the kids. It was remarkable. I know this post was slightly off-topic from what this article is about, but only slightly.

When you have that kind of money, any number of kids seems feasible.

I've already viewed the pictures of this place so many times! I loved it. I'll have to go check out the video house tour. Yeah!

Oh! I'm in LOVE with their home!! Particularly the 8 year old twins' bedroom. Check out the glossy walls and ceiling. Wow!

I've seen this freaking family in so many magazines. Yes, they have cool (multiple) houses. Yes, they have more money than God. Yes, they actually named their fifth child Five.
