Everyone's doing it. AT has always said that small is cool. During this Smallest Coolest Apartment Month at AT, we couldn't help but notice Dwell's Smaller is Smarter May issue. Standouts are after the jump.

First off, David and Im's Onespace (pictured above) is on the cover. Their 426 sf loft in San Diego tied for first place in last year's Smallest Coolest Apartment Contest. See Dwell's take on their place here.

Also check out La Tour des Bebelles - an off-the-grid house made up of two 450sf spaces stacked on top of one another. The small vacation home, designed by architects Andre Lessard and Barbara Dewhirst, is a fine example of living small and living green.

The Haute Seat is a Dwell Report on plastic seating with expert opinion from - who else? - Karim Rashid.

There's lots more to see here, particularly with regard to beautiful and functional small homes. This is a good, dense issue that's caught our full attention.
