Halloween is one of the most entertaining holidays to decorate for. Some people keep it simple, while others go all out and make their homes a spooktastic creation. Hallmark Magazine gives readers some easy ideas to get your home Halloween ready.
Any table can look instantly "Halloweeny" by arranging a few black taper candles, some branches and apothecary or glass milk bottles on some oranges and mirrors.
For the door, Hallmark gives you instructions for a great DIY cutout. With two pieces of 22" x 28" poster board and some black masking tape, you can create a giant cat lurking in your doorway ready to greet or eat visitors.
Your kitchen can also get into the act by creating some sweet and "gross" candy offerings like gummy worms and eye-ball bubble gum. Hallmark recommends using old pickle and jelly jars, spray painting the lids orange or black and setting them on your counter.
Our favorite decoration are some easy to make pom-pom spiders that are constructed with black yarn, pipe cleaners and buttons.
