Hidden in the corner no more. We were immediately taken by this idea for bringing our recycling into the light providing valuable surface area to boot.We don't know about you, but our recycling gets uglier and uglier as it gets crammed into one bin, and it feels like we're always taking it out.
This way, there's more space to keep things sorted, and the colorful bins plus restraining doors ensure that it always looks pretty, no matter how full.
The idea is just one of fifteen for creating one's dream kitchen ("Anatomy of a Dream Kitchen," Fall/Winter 2007, p.55). The glass-front cabinet is the Windham Media/Storage Console from Crate & Barrel for $349. The bins are the Woven Nylon Baskets from the Container Store for $20.
As for us, we'll be looking for a glass-fronted cabinet at our local antique mall, and dreaming about pairing it with bins from Hable, or perhaps African baskets.
