For people without children, sometimes buying a gift for a child can be a bit difficult. What should you get? What do babies like? ReadyMade's Tina Barseghian suggests three easy peasy DIY gifts that any parent will appreciate -- or at least get a little chuckle from.
For newborns, Barseghian recommends something as simple as a newspaper from the day the child was born. It's an easy keepsake! For Toddlers, a t-shirt with an iron-on funny message will do the trick. And finally for tweens, a box with crafting goods will be a hit.
As a parent, do you have any gift recommendations that non-parents will be able to buy or make easily? Please share!

For grade-schoolers we've had great success with classics like hula-hoops and jump-ropes. For toddlers: bubbles and fun bubble-making doo-dads are always a hit. For babies: a favorite children's book both parent and baby will enjoy for many years (eric carle, dr. seuss or vintage stories like Ping and Ferdinand). Also, kids love anything personalized like a blanket or a book or piggy bank...
Artkits are always well loved by toddlers and up. Just fill a bin with various art supplies and tie with a ribbon. Add the kid's name to the outside for extra love.
P.S. Any gift with a kid's name on it will be a successful gift. Kid's love their name and love to show it off.
get them mini cleaning tools (yeah my son's just got into the cheerios)
