Since we were little kids, we've sought to create small places to retreat to: forts, backyard tents, tree houses. The homeowners featured in Seattle Homes and Lifestyles never let the dream go.The shed above was built by Joanna Bracken and Jamie Corn to do what a shed does: store gardening supplies and bikes. But it also covers a little indoor garden of plants in raised beds, and looks so pretty that we wish they had chosen to make it a living space.
The shed above has the opposite effect: it looks like a shed on the outside, but the inside is done up with seating and displays of collections and art.
