As a little Bedroom Month inspiration, we're looking to Wallpaper and their Design Awards 2008. The Riva Hotel in Florence was bestowed the Best New Hotel award and it provides some great bedroom ideas...

Riva Hotel was created by architect Claudio Nardi in his former architectural studio. The hotel is made up of only eight suites, all of which feature beautiful bedrooms that create spaces for sleeping with creative uses of curtains, niches, and canopies. Each of these ideas could be used in a studio apartment to create a "bedroom" space. We love the sheer curtains, the "floating" canopy, and discreet niche shown in these photos.
