We are having a serious case of house-envy just looking through Geninne's blog Delanine! Geninne is an illustrator living in Mexico City with her architect/furniture designer husband Manolo in their gorgeous custom-built home. Their home is modern, but extremely cozy with amazing built-in storage and handmade touches courtesy of Geninne herself. If you're looking for DIY inspiration, take a minute and peruse her blog and Etsy shop. Some of our favorite photos are after the jump...!

Geninne's gorgeous bird prints, hanging on a wire with clothespins--a nice alternative to a bulletin board. Her work is available at her Etsy shop here.

Living room, with ledges to display art and books. Also, the linen pillow and the embroidered bird pillow were made by Geninne. Love the asymmetry!

Example of neat built-in storage: the dining room and kitchen flow together, and this shelving nook stores everything from teapots to a microwave to silverware in the drawers.

Another example of storage in the living room: this floating shelf was designed by Geninne's husband Manolo. (For the record, we're also coveting that big, huge window right next to it).

Check out more amazing photos of Geninne's home and artwork on her blog, Blog Delanine.
