Blogging...Martha Stewart Circa April 2008

One of the great things about bodegas in New York City is that in some of them you can find back issues of magazines for 1/2 off. A few weeks ago we scored some old copies of Martha Stewart, one of which ended up having some great home office solutions.

The first genius idea from the editor of MS was turning a hutch or sideboard into a home office hideaway. "A pull-out shelf made with drawer glide hardware ensures hassle-free access to the laptop and printer. Cords are kept out of sight by a concealed surge protector (situated behind the computer)."

More ideas after the break...

Next up is Martha's solution for creating a workspace for deux. We've covered this in the past both (see related links below), but this set-up is one to aspire to.

They hung kitchen cabinets to sub in as file cabinets, spice jars are filled with pushpins, stamps, and other officey items, a metal rolling cart tucks in under the desk and holds other supplies.
