There's a new green player on the web: Sprig.com. Put out by the Washington Post, Sprig seeks to be a source of green products that also fit the stylish bill. Checking out their Lifestyle-Tech section results in 15 products, the majority of which are either bamboo or solar-powered. Nothing wrong with any of that, but the depth of this part of the site is still in progress. You can sort the items by price, and by different types of green based on what you value most... For example, in the tech area search options are: • waste-reducing • sustainable • resource-saving • recycled • charitable We really like this option, especially as the depth of the site grows, this becomes purposeful, making this site a regular place to check for green consumer goods. The "about us" section is hard to find, and gives info about each of their teammembers, but there isn't a specific "about" the site page--so you're left kind of guessing what they're all about. That leaves Sprig open to flexibility, but also makes us wonder what their focus is, exactly. Despite the ambiguity, we recommend you check it out, bookmark it and check back occasionally as we watch the site grow.
