Alix strumming her red guitar...Our search for quirky interiors continues as we have recently discovered French fashion designer Alix's blog, The Cherry Blossom Girl. If you loved our On the Set Feature of Penelope and that perfect shade of dusty rose pink, you will probably adore this girl's room. It's so whimsical, with obvious influences from Alice in Wonderland, Le Petit Prince, and touches of Japanese illustrations. Take a look at some of our favorite photos below the jump...
Alix's closet, where the top shelves are treated more like displays instead of storage.
Gorgeous Miu Miu heels and Repetto flats in similar muted shades share the corner with a stack of fashion magazines, a pink hat box, and a retro mint phone.
All the walls (including the door!) have this whimsical and romantic landscape painted in a soft pink, sloping and rising around the room.
Instead of a traditional bedside lamp, Alix takes a cue from the wall design and tacked up white string lights that look like...cherry blossoms. Her "inspiration board" is simple: inspiring photos and ephemera get pinned on the wall...
...in addition to vintage dresses and other inspiring outfits.
