Our search for quirky interiors continues as we have recently discovered French fashion designer Alix's blog, The Cherry Blossom Girl. If you loved our On the Set Feature of Penelope and that perfect shade of dusty rose pink, you will probably adore this girl's room. It's so whimsical, with obvious influences from Alice in Wonderland, Le Petit Prince, and touches of Japanese illustrations. Take a look at some of our favorite photos below the jump...

Alix's closet, where the top shelves are treated more like displays instead of storage.
Gorgeous Miu Miu heels and Repetto flats in similar muted shades share the corner with a stack of fashion magazines, a pink hat box, and a retro mint phone.
All the walls (including the door!) have this whimsical and romantic landscape painted in a soft pink, sloping and rising around the room.
Instead of a traditional bedside lamp, Alix takes a cue from the wall design and tacked up white string lights that look like...cherry blossoms. Her "inspiration board" is simple: inspiring photos and ephemera get pinned on the wall...
...in addition to vintage dresses and other inspiring outfits.
Check out a LOT more photos of Alix's room, as well as her fanciful photoshoots, enviable shoe collection, and flower garden over at TheCherryBlossomGirl.com

Great for a teen and little girl.
I love this, and I'm 44. It's funny, because I was never girly when I actually was a little girl.
I have to channel Joan Crawford here - wire hangers in a closet always manage to make it look messy.
It is a ukulele.
I'm totally getting an elegant gothic lolita vibe :3 Love the room!
i love this. it's so fabulous!
haha no more wire hangers!!! im with u DMH
really cute room tho! a littttle bit cluttered for my taste, but the stencilling (sp?) on the walls is BEAUTIFUL!
very cute! The walls are great - love the paint job!
LOVE the walls... the stenciling is awesome!
anyone know where the curtains/fabric is from?
love it...whimsical and cute!
i wish these rooms were left untouched so we really see the way a person lives in them,
i was confused cause i saw 2 beds.. who has 2 beds in their room?, and then i noticed the last picture and the second one up from that is in front of the same wall...
haha, mrs yow!! I thought the same thing and was hoping someone posted it first...
So beautiful and French.
WOW I want the sailor top... or dress whichever!!! :D
I think this is great for a teenage girl (12 - 16 years old).
No offense but i think that she is already too old for this girly stuff, she is 25 years old.
Oh my goodness, that it so dainty and pretty! I LOVE the cherry blossom lights. The room does look like it should be for a younger girl (I'm 17 and already want a more mature look), but it does have this really fresh, sweet appeal to it. Overall I think it's lovely. : )
