With Project Runway's season in full swing (now back-to-back with Top Design on Bravo) and our ongoing interest in the connection of fashion and interiors, an interesting background always jumps out to us when we're looking at clothes. This one, found in Vogue, is for Bloomingdale's, whose latest campaign is all about rock chic.
What we love: the chenille bedspread and insect wallpaper (or painting - can't quite tell). We wouldn't want images of bugs crawling on our walls, but the effect is super interesting in this setting.

Based on these photos, this is nothing Anthropologie hasn't been doing for years now.
I do not understand why there are 5 areas on this blog!
They all use the same stuff mostly. I would like to see a total change from one area to the other---perhaps using no more then 20% of each others finds. If at all.
Bloomingdale's is the most unoriginal marketer anywhere. Their headquarters is two miles from Williamsburg yet they didn't catch onto the style until now. BOORRIINNG.
