A little blush, coral, neon, or fuchsia can go a long way. It'll add warmth if you incorporate it through artwork, pillows, or even table legs (Image 1). For a bigger shot of color and stronger statement, fans of the hue could consider using it on a chair or couch.

One of the things I loved right away was Blu Dot's metal dining table in "watermelon." I still want it, even though the hubby vetoed a bright pink table, I couldn't spend $700 on a dining table anyway.
I did this last week

We have flor parallel reality carpet tiles on order & it has lots of hot pink in it. And we are thinking of the blu dot watermelon console table. We're waiting for the the carpet to arrive before placing the console order. There probably will be plenty of pink in the rug (not to mention enough color with our flaming red chair & bright blue & white curtains!)
@PI- you could get the blu dot small side table. It's $300, so still kinda spendy. But for a pop of color it would be great.
I love how popular pink is right now! I have fixed up a few chair I found at a thrift shop with a coraly-pink color. http://comfyandcozy.wordpress.com/
Could you tell us which Ikea legs those are in the first picture?
Love this! I am generally not at all a fan of pink but I've been a bit obsessed lately with using it as a high contrast accent color. Love the table legs, and I love the grey room with pink couches.
