Living in a 600 square foot apartment is a lovely challenge: balancing the line between useful and beautiful. My interior aesthetic is "Everything In It's Place": it is a like a game of Tetris to find where each item goes.
Once it is there, it stays there until it is time to move. I'm bewildered by spaces that don't reflect the occupants: my space is drenched in who I am and where I come from. Small spaces require a lot of customization: luckily I have a chop saw, a cordless drill, and a lot of scrap wood...
Thanks, Bob !

Shaw's Original Fir...
Love the pink filing cab.
I love it, very inviting and cozy. The colors are interesting too. You did a great job with such a small space!
That kitchen! LOVE!
Clever use of the half-round as a dining table. I'm in love with your bathroom fixtures - are they vintage? If so, they're in perfect shape!
The furniture looks like it's straight out of a dorm or classroom....good use of space!
I love the cutting board mounted above your work station-- and everything else too!
"Everything has it's place" is my own design theory too! I keep everything out in the open (what? I like to look at my stuff) but everything is purposefuly out- I love it!
Tidy = cozy!
I love this and the collection on the wall - are those chalk figures or rubber elephants - either way it's great!
That certainly is yellow!
The house if really nice. I just don't think it translates well into photos.
Please share where you found the double towel rack. I have a small bathroom, but need 4 racks and yours would be perfect. Thanks.
Love your desk and pink filing cabinet.
I wouldn't have dared use yellow in this size of a place-- you're quite an inspiration.
What about the other living areas?
I like the dark grout in your bathroom. Wondering if that's original or if you had it done? Sometimes the white tile/dark grout combo just looks like bad 70s decor, but I love how it works with your fixtures.
Coming home to this apartment must be a joy!
Very cool apartment!
Fantastic Siouxsie and the Banshees poster!
