Boffi Bathrooms

Italian company Boffi has a history of innovations in the kitchen-and-bath field. In the 1960s, they produced Joe Colombo's renowned small-space kitchenette, the Minikitchen. In the 1990s, they led the way in minimalist and stainless steel bathroom design. We thought we'd kick off bathroom month with some inspiring photos of Boffi bathrooms that are sleek, simple, and highly covetable.

You can tell just by looking at these photos that Boffi prices are in the "rock star" category. Their soapstone tubs are top-of-the-line and their stainless steel fixtures are long-lasting and highly functional.

The good thing about looking to a trend-setter like Boffi for inspiration is that chain stores like IKEA and Restoration Hardware look here, too. You can find less expensive (and less perfect) versions of Boffi's fixtures, and their catalog provides plenty of ideas for ways to combine tile, tubs, sinks, and storage.
