If any single piece of furniture could be called the heart of the home, it would be the sofa. It is the place where family and friends nest together, where you stretch out after a long day's work and where you settle in to be entertained by the internet or television. These bold and bright sofas will delight your brain and relax your body.
When shopping for a sofa, construction materials is something you should consider, not only for the longevity of the piece, but also to minimize the indoor air toxicity at home. Construction material considerations for clean home air include: yes to water-based glues and no to brominated flame retardants in the fabric or foam like PBDEs and other BFRs.

Nomade Express Slee...
the yellow one is gorgeous but I can't have one , eating my Dove ice cream and spilling the chocolate hm hm no.
In my first home, I ended up with a hand-me-down fire engine red sofa, big chair and ottoman. It's not something I EVER would have picked for myself, but I've ended up loving them, not only because they are the most comfortable things ever. I paired the bright color with dark walls and embraced it. I did find that breaking up the couch from the chair/ottoman, which are in another room, helped it from becoming overwhelming.
The tags are all wrong on these... starting with 1, which is Fillmore from Thrive.
And this site has sofas in just about every color imaginable plus no PBDE'S.
