Bold Yellow Stripes for Sanjan's Room

My Room

Name: Sanjan
Location: Pleasanton, CA

When we moved into this house, my son was five. I wanted to have a design that I would not have to change a couple of years down the road.

I did not want to go with any theme, so I used color as my inspiration. Yellow for the stripes on the wall and the coverlet on the bed. Red on the headboard, bed skirt and curtains. Green on the dresser/nightstand and the frame on the wall.

Source List:

Headboard: DIY on a framed cork memo board
Curtain: DIY Stitched IKEA fabric and hung using clip rings
Bedskirt: DIY No-sew bedskirt - stapled the fabric on the box spring of the bed
Frame: DIY - Found without the mirror at an antique shop. Spray painted frame in green and the inside an orange color.
Alphabet: Michaels (Spray painted the same green that's on frame.)
Dresser: IKEA RAST (Got the paint matched at Home Depot to the spray paint color in green.)
Wall lamp: IKEA
