Bonhams & Butterfields' SoMa Estate Auctions are a monthly events open to the public with price points in the $300 - $3,000 range. Interior designers, stagers and dealers are already in the know, but since this isn't wholesale we can all take part in the deals.

Set aside your pre-conceived notions that auctions are only attended by those with deep pockets. SoMa Estate Auctions are specifically designed for the mid-range market which is why dealers and professional decorators have used the it as a reliable resource to find quality property at wholesale prices.

Each month features a new selection of items. Above are just 5 of the 750 items available at this weekend's auction.

Highlights include a lithograph by March Chagall (estimate $400 – 600); a color screenprint by Sol Lewitt (estimate $600 – 800); and a Henry Moore lithograph (estimate $400 – 600). The furniture section offers a large amount of dramatic, period gothic furniture, Victorian pieces, classical antique pieces including dining tables, chairs, tables, desks, armoires etc. Other items to note include library steps, prayer stands, hall stands, games tables, chandeliers, crèche figures, carved Santos figures, etc.
