The new Blu Dot space at ABC Carpet & Home is a great opportunity to try out some of Blu Dot's larger pieces that aren't as common as the Strut tables or Modulicious storage. On our recent visit, we enjoyed the comfort of the Bonnie sofa and its counterpart, Clyde. These sofas can be used as separate pieces or combined to create a sleek sectional...
The Bonnie is rather long (96"), but retains a slim proportion. Shown above in Guacamole, it should be noted that the photo does not do the color justice. Almost electric, guacamole is a vibrant blend of green and yellow with a few flecks of brown. (Regular readers will remember the recent debate about this color on Blu Dot's Nook Bed.)

Clyde is the shorter (67") armless version of Bonnie. Alone, Clyde appears futon-like and we think is best working in tandem with Bonnie.

Both sofas are available in guacamole, chalk and espresso. Bonnie is $1599 and Clyde is $999 from Blu Dot.

I also checked out the blu dot store this weekend...and you're right the picture doesn't to the color justice...you can see that sofa from union square!
It made me a bit dizzy when I concentrated on it in an effort to be able to explain it.
They're a great depth, but too bad they're so long. Of course, most "small scale" sofas have the opposite problem: only love-seat length but still 40 inches deep. That said, anyone know how comfortable they are?
It was comfy but on the firmer side.
In the top pic, way off in the background is Blu Dot's "Real Good Chair." I have never seen this chair in person but I was thinking of ordering a couple for occasional extra seating. Can anyone tell me if this chair is sturdy? Basically, give me the lowdown. Thanx.
