Twenty-nine years ago, she kicked off her career with her first book, Entertaining. Now, after conquering virtually every lifestyle industry and building an empire that reaches more than 37 million consumers, Martha Stewart is back with her recently released pièce de résistance, Martha's Entertaining, A Year of Celebrations. "I am an enthusiast for change, for subtly altering the traditional to make it more interesting, more creative, more inventive." —Martha Stewart

Much has changed since 1982 when she first began offering her expert tips on home keeping, and in Martha's Entertaining, Stewart takes pride in finding fresh ways to rethink old traditions. In this elaborate and in-depth 432 page style guide, Martha opens the doors of her homes, inviting readers to share in her celebrations and gatherings.

Divided into three sections—Mornings, Afternoons and Evenings, the book invites you into various shin-digs authentically hosted by Martha herself. In the introduction, Martha assures you, "None of the parties were fabricated for the book—they are shown just as they happened."

While some of you may gripe about how nothing in these pages is actually attainable, you are mostly right. But what makes this book so great is that it is in fact ridiculously authentic, because only Martha and her sidekick Kevin Sharky could pull off such over-the-top and perfectly crafted parties. And Martha openly includes pictures and discussions about what it takes to set up these events, enlisting staffs of expert floral designs, master chefs and hunky men to carry in her custom faux bois dining tables.

The bottom line? The book is filled with inspiring takeaways for tablescapes, party menus and unconventional ideas for hosting friends and family.

Martha's Entertaining is now on stands for $75 as well at Amazon.com
