Books have inspired more than just cakes. Some parents create a whole room for their child inspired by a favorite, beloved book. Here are four from our archives…
• Parker Olivia's room includes a large Babar poster complimented by a hanging fabric hot air balloon.
• The walls in Bettina's son's room are based on artwork from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's classic The Little Prince.
• Enzo's whimsical bedroom is adorned by none other than classic Seuss.
• This room brings Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are book to life on the walls and, cleverly, a huge armoir. (Two more examples of Sendak murals: here and here.)

I think the Goodnight Moon room is really inspiring. This is the nursery I would make for Goodnight Moon: http://buymodernbaby.com/blog/2010/04/21/my-modern-nursery-17-goodnight-moon/
I love the 'The Little Prince' room. Its my families favorite book.
Could anyone tell me where the Babar poster came from? I would really love it for my son's room.
