We have the adult version of this and have just noticed that there is a kid version, too. The books your children read are a snapshot of their childhood so this journal would be worth keeping around for both of you to look at later. We'd love to see a list of the books, many long forgotten, that we enjoyed as youngsters. There are pages for keeping a list of books you want to read and pages for those you have already read. Fifty stickers are provided for marking favorites. There is also space for mad-lib style book reviews which definitely don't feel like homework.Whether you have a serious reader in your family or a child you want to encourage to read more, this journal will work for both.
It's available through the New York Public Library's online shop.
