This photo from the Selby reminded us of the flexibility of bookshelves made from wooden crates. Stacked in a staircase-style configuration and paired with clustered artwork, these shelves tread the line between unruliness and artful order. We love it...A few things to keep in mind if you want to make your own crate bookshelves:
- Over time, the crates can shift and sag. Crate clamps will keep them in place.
- You many need to reinforce the corners of the crates with angle or corner braces.
