It doesn't matter what thrift store you go into, you're sure to find vintage luggage. This Etsy seller is making the most of these traveling companions from yesteryears and is turning them into something a little more audible. Yup, now you can reduce, reuse and rock out with former travel accessories converted into home audio gear.

Speakers! These suitcase speaker sets are made by Etsy seller Iam SiMo. They carry on board battery supply that will keep you thumpin' for a solid seven hours, the perfect amount for a picnic, outdoor adventure or even just an afternoon of working in the yard (in style that is).

A recent supply of suitcases has just been picked up so you should start seeing new Boomcases either online or over at Etsy for a few hundred dollars. It that's too rich for your blood, try making one yourself (and send us photos), the artist suggest skipping plastic all together and going straight for leather and wood cases.
