This most excellent mod floor lamp was made by Raak in Holland in the 1960's and boy does it have some 60's styling going on. For $350 this collectors piece can be yours.

Let this be the year we finally buy a calendar before the year is half over! Tiny Showcase is accepting pre-orders for Providence artist Alec Thibodeau's letterpress printed glow-in-the-dark 2010 lunar calendar, which is based on the skies here in little Rhode Island, but is within a day of accuracy for any location in the Northern Hemisphere.
Q: I am hoping that you or your readers might be able to help me locate the name or designer of this lovely wallpaper? Thanks so much.

Portuguese designer Luís Teixeira creates furniture and lighting by reusing and recycling mass produced materials — here are his lamps made with disposable plastic hangers.
Of all the trends to emerge in the past few months, patchwork is probably among my least favorite. This week, I challenged myself to find some pieces even the most patchwork-phobic decorator could adore.
Swing over to Hyde Park today to pick up this brand new Kartell Madamoiselle chair at a steep discount.
No matter what I do to organize my house, the sad reality is that this is what my living room couch looks like at the moment. Creating this little piece of installation art was quite an labor of love for my 2-year-old and though thankfully he's pretty good at putting things away, there just aren't enough places to put it all.
Q: I recently won these chairs off of an eBay auction and I was wondering if the Apartment Therapy readers could identify them for me. The seller describes the label as a flame, and a "B." I know they are not Herman Miller (obviously), but any help in identifying them would be very much appreciated! I love their cute egg shape! The chairs pictured are not the exact colorway, but they are the same manufacturer and chair. Thanks in advance!

I stopped by one of my favorite favorite flowers shops that sells small antique tables, hand made jewelry and miscellaneous wares and came across this silver and gold tchotchke. It reminds me of something they would have at Cafe Yaffa in the East Village of Manhattan.

It's one of those versatile colors that can accommodate a range of styles depending on how it's used and what it's paired with. From fresh and funky to dark and dramatic, here is some inspiration to get you thinking about olive green in a whole new way.

We almost always try and take a copy of the menu when we eat out at fancy restaurants — it's a perfect memento of an evening that can be a bit hazy if there was more than one glass of wine involved. So why not do the same at dinner parties?
