Hi Apartment Therapy! We are trying to update the window treatment in our studio apartment. We have south-facing windows that are a little more than 12' wide, so we get a lot of sun throughout the day. We used to have these silk drapes but they were so heavy that they started pulling the curtain rod brackets from the wall. Right now we have put up these lightweight sheer curtains as a temporary replacement. Any suggestions on what we could do? (Please disregard the spackle on the wall we are about to repaint the apt.)
