Born out of a frustrating wedding registry experience, Bliss Home was originally a tableware registry shop for the design-inclined. But founder Panamai Manadee has taken Bliss far beyond just dishes and now offers one of the most refined home goods selections in Boston proper—and it also happens to be one of our all-time favorite shops in town...

The custom curated and constantly updated selection of items within Bliss Home make us frequent visitors in the Newbury Street shop. The back half of the store is still devoted to Bliss' original endeavor which is tableware and it is a breathtaking collection. If you're planning a registry or looking for a wedding gift we would highly recommend stopping by. Bliss also boasts the largest display of Alessi products in Boston with their official Shop-in-Shop.

A big part of what we love about Bliss is the mingling of classic and well-known brands with local and independent designer products. From Panton Chairs to Candela, and Chilewich placemats to Marimekko mugs, Bliss Home has a wonderfully playful collection well worth a trip to the Back Bay. They also have regular in-store sales and a new online store.
I love this store but I'm always terrified I'm going to knock something breakable off the displays. It's filled to the brim with cute things, but really, they need a bigger space.

Some of the people who work here are totally miserable and rude.

I second Jick. I'm always turned off by the staff...
Plus I find that the home goods at Louis are better.

The staff at Bliss are horrible. What a bunch of stuck up people. I take my business elsewhere, even if it means paying for shipping.
