Inmod: Design Your Own Duvet Covers!

Picture-2.jpg

A few years ago AT New York blogged about Inmod, an online modern furniture and housewares company. One of their products worth highlighting is their "design your own" bedding line. The duvet cover pictured above in queen size would run you...

$126.00! You can choose between style (various patterns to choose from), base color, and embroidery thread color. The duvets also come in a variety of fabrics (e.g. cotton, linen/cotton blend, silk dupioni, silk taffeta). There is a wide price range, depending on the amount of embroidering and fabric type. You can also design your own shams!

So if you're unsatisfied with off-the-shelf duvet covers, check these out.

Has anyone had experience with this bedding?

really great price for custom embroidery--the shop i used to work at would charge upwards of $400 for just a selected color choice....

I have the vine pattern and I love it http://www.inmod.com/cumobevidust.html The cotton linen blend that I own is heavier than cotton. It almost feels like a very soft canvas. I have seen a swatch of the regular cotton, it is a 250TC. Obviously silks are not measured by thread count but they are super nice.

is the cotton/linen blend soft enough to have against your skin? i like to use my duvet without a top sheet (lots of washing required, but i hate sheets). "very soft canvas" might still be too stiff though... might have to go with cotton, but the color selection is more limited.
