Marimekko has quite a presence here on AT and, now, quite a presence right here in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We've been a fan of Marimekko patterns for a long time and nothing tops seeing — and feeling — these fabrics in person...
Marimekko: Cambridge Concept Store
Inside that neutral gray storefront is a wonderland of color and pattern. If you've been eyeing a Marimekko product we'd highly suggest taking a trip to Huron Village, just behind Harvard, and checking out the store first hand. In addition to their extensive collection of fabric by the yard, the Marimekko store also has a variety of home goods available, including pillows, bedding, towels and tableware.
And in case you're not shopping for your home, they also have a great selection of clothing for adults and kids, plus some fantastic bags. If you're unfamiliar with Huron Village in Cambridge the Marimekko store is a great excuse to go exploring.

i recently paid my first visit to the store - and the adorable neighborhood it lives in - to buy fabric for a chair i'm reupholstering.
it's a really great spot for ideas (and to see for yourself how large some of the patterns really are) but it's super pricey - after i purchased, i found the same fabric at reprodepot for half the price.
