A couple of weeks ago we took a weekend getaway to a small town in Vermont with a population of 1,000 and not a chain store to be found for miles and miles … and miles. We absolutely loved the painted signs that were everywhere, and would kill to find a few prime pieces of handmade typography for our home. So we were excited to discover these reproduction signs from Staples Cabinet Makers that are made from discarded wooden panels, boards, and moldings. Not only do they look like authentic vintage signs, but they can be customized to say whatever the heck you want…

This is in my nieghborhood. They do beautiful work, making furniture- mostly tables from reclaimed wood.
The craftsmanship is wonderful and they are excellent & honorable people.

Friends of mine have many pieces from Staples Cabinets. The quality is fantastic. Expensive, but well worth the money since their tables and chairs will last forever and it's all from old woods. If you are down in the area, go in and you'll be able to see their work space where they make everything. It's really cool.

We had a really nice farm table made by staples! This is a great family business and they were very easy to work with. We love our new table! Since we live in a small apartment we had it made to seat 6 and had two company boards made to expand it to eight.
