One thing about pet month is that we've been noticing animal photography and art everywhere. This gorgeous photo in a bedroom designed by Christine Lane Interiors of Boston is one of our favorites. Click through the jump to see a few more that have stuck in our mind..

We love the close-up shots, how they look right at you, and that their "how's it going?" expressions make us just want to curl up with a beer and talk about the bad day we had.
While you can buy black and white photography on many internet sites, we saw some great photos by etsy photographers who are sometimes willing to sell custom sizes of their work:

by any chance does anyone happen to know the source of the bedding in the top photo?

According to this roomark, it's from IKEA:

I really liked the rooms with the horse pictures better than the bear pictures, not because of the subject matter - I think it was just chance, because the pictures are just fine, the rest of it is just weird. I think it's a really good idea for a room and may try something similar. That first room looks like a very nice bedroom to have.

Anyone know the name of the photographer for photo #2 (pair of horses)? I saw the photo used in a Metropolitan Home layout a couple of months ago and have been trying to track down the source (so far no luck).

ccoopfan, here's another link to the ikea comforter cover-- here the creative homeowner, Judi, repurposed the fabric as curtains!

wendic, you might be able to get the photographer information from the interior designer? The link to her web site is above. I'd love to know myself, I fell in love with both horse photos.

I love the horse photos too! I'd been looking for the name of the photographer forever and finally figured it out. The photographs are part of a series called Sable Island Horses by Roberto Dutesco - you can see the images online at www.dutescoart.com
I think the images are sold as prints - but no idea on prices.
