While working on a different AT post, we stumbled across this restaurant/club in Bangkok, Thailand called Bed Supperclub that employs full size beds as sofas! Well not one full-size bed, but a huge custom made bed couch spread. Which made us think of a Good Question post on AT Chicago yesterday: Queen Bed as Sofa…

For years, we’ve used twin beds as sofas (check our our AT house tour to see how we used 3 West Elm daybeds for our living room) but we’ve never seen a larger bed as couch pulled off as successfully as they look to be at Bed Supperclub. We’re not big clubbers (that’s an understatement) but if ever in Bangkok, we will certainly climb into bed at Bed Supperclub.

I always wanted to have a breakfast in bed restaurant. You could have a few beds facing in... the kind that raise up in back. They would change the sheets and everything between diners. People would come in PJs with their newspapers.

I love your 3-daybed living room!
I think the bed-sofas at the club would be difficult to navigate in a skirt. This just doesn't look that comfortable to me. I'd rather sit in a chair.

Perfect for anyone under five years old. They would be able to bounce around and walk upright. The rest of the adult world would need to crawl on elbows and knees to get in and out. Forget moving about with a drink in your hand. I wonder how many repeats they get. The beauty of chairs and sofas is their accessibility and utility. You get up move about etc. That would have been great in the 70's when most of us were so stoned we were already on all fours.
Function over form in this case.

There's a restaurant near me in manhatten called uh bed. I believe that it was in Sex in the City once. I went there and they give you slip free socks. A wee bit pricey though.

Yep - It's in the Marina, I think...
...kinda funny watching the str8 ex-Fratguys sitting there nervously.

Oh, I love-love-LOVE that, obviously you'd need waitstaff, but imagine being able to drink until you collapse, without hurting yourself or fellow patrons?!
.... oh, that'll be just me then....
