Upholstering a Narrative: "The Selfish Giant" Armchair

OldMan_Armchair1.jpg

Hannah Wilmot takes reupholstery to a new and refreshing realm with full-on narrative illustration of Oscar Wilde's "The Selfish Giant"...

From the artist: "Yet to be completed, the arm chair that illustrates the giant will be surrounded by framed images on the wall that will tell the reader the rest of the story. Creating a homely but involving setting, I hope to show this later this year."

We don't upholster but we love interesting new perspectives in the field and this made our day. A recent graduate, this girl is going places. Check out her blog here.
