In fact, the vignette in the Better Homes and Gardens photo has a few too many number and letter characters for our taste but we love the idea of lining a shelf that overhangs a desk, with clothespins to clip together important papers that pertain to a particular day of the week. Perfect for those to-dos that need to stay right in front of you but you don't won't them junking up your desktop! A chunky shelf like the Ikea Lack shelf would be a good fit for this idea.

June of WHAT year? This looks like something from their late 60s issues.

It's called a post-it note. Much more versatile than gluing clothespins to a shelf, imo.

I hold all the photos in the office with clothespins on our circuit breaker box. That's just because I was lazy and never framed them.
I did purposely use an oversized paperclip upside down to hold important info that I'll need in the near future.

My thoughts exactly dkody! This could be a corner of the girls' room from The Brady Bunch.

Or tape.

I like the idea because it holds more than just a post-it. I work with documents... not sure how management would like me gluing clothespins to stuff, but it's tempting.
That room is so peppy I think I'm going to explode and multicolored numbers will fly out of my head.

oy. I am getting so tired of cutesy hyper-organization.

great and cute! Unless you have to hold something bigger than a matchbook.
BTW, My father has a GIANT paperclip with the letters VIP burned in the top that he uses to hold all his bills until they get paid once a month- it was a christmas gift from 1963

Difficult crowd ... OMG.
Think color and function: oranges and lemons with a satisfied attitude of that's right where I need it to be for me to be organized.
Think citrus chic and then run with it!
Love it, Ms. K!
