A couple of years ago we spotted British designer Charlotte Tangye online and snatched up one of her Footprint shoe racks for a sandal-obsessed friend. It's kind of like a sculpture, and she uses it for her rotating stock of colorful flip-flops. Now we see that Charlotte has a smaller, individual version coming out soon...

Footprint is a wall mounted shoe rack in the form of one pair of feet, and it's made out of powder-coated steel. It mounts away from the wall and shoes hang over and behind the wire feet. The individual shoe rack size lets you use even the smallest of spaces or entryways to hang a pair of shoes. It's easy to install and it allows for a pair of shoes to be really creatively displayed.

According to Charlotte Tangye's website, the individual Footprint shoe rack will be available soon as part of a range of wire storage products designed for Heal's Department Store Heal Discovers 2008.

This is fun, as long as you keep your sandals in "never worn, clean soles" condition.
