The word that comes to us every time we look at the Monza chair is "delicious". We love the wispy design and the combination of the poppy color with light ash wood.

The stackable Monza chair, designed by Konstantic Grcic for Plank, is available in an array of color combinations. You can choose the frame to be natural ash or stained- lacquered in black or wenge. The top part of the chair is available in yellow green, wine red, traffic red, black, white grey, or light blue.
We were only able to find the chair for sale online at Domestico Shop. As predicted the price is steep — approximately $418. For more information about the chair also check out Plank's website.
Hm.

At first glance, this chair reminded me of the Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec Steelwood chair (http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/seating-dining-sidechairs/steelwood-chair-by-ronan-erwan-bouroullec-044791) The colors and the price are nice differences. I think the cylindrical legs and wood construction make Grcic's chair warmer and more playful. I think it would be a good alternative to the Steelwood chair for the family-oriented types or those who aren't keen on the industrial details of the Steelwood chair.

That reminds of IKEA PS Slingra chair, except IKEA's is actually sexier.

Yeah.. I was trying to be nice. I'd shell out the extra $150 for the steelwood chairs. Although I still think Grcic's chair would be good for a kitchen table that becomes a 'kids' table for holiday meals.
