We love getting out of the city, but, with all the rainy New England weather this season, we have had to find indoor escapes. Antique shops in Boston are often geared toward tourists and, we think, are overpriced. So we hopped in our Zipcar (no paying for gas) and explored some antique shops in southern New Hampshire...

Growing up in southern New Hampshire I can attest to the great antique shopping. If anyone is making the trek be sure to include the "antique highway" from the Lee traffic circle to the Epsom traffic circle. There has got to be over 30 stores just on this one route alone.

Places like this are all over West Michigan. I miss it and enjoy you your adventure, which is ironically the basis for one of my short stories. Go fig.
