Hooray for our own site! Here's a question:
Does anyone know of a good furniture refinisher in the area? I bought a McCobb table on craigslist, and the top of the table definitely needs help. Any recommendations?

I'd love to see what the Mill Lofts in downtown Lowell, MA looks like from the inside. =)

Which ones are the Mill Lofts?
It seems like every Mill in Lowell is turned into lofts.
Yay for Boston (and Lowell i guess)!

greenamie,
Sorry I ment to say "mill lofts" - so any of the lofts in the mill buildings. Yes, does look like most of the mills in Lowell have been converted to lofts. =)

I'm so excited about this! It makes me feel like Boston is finally being considered as fashionable as other big cities...
Does anyone know of any sort of planter for the tiny wrought iron balconies commonly seen on brownstones in the South End? I live right on Mass. Ave and have a lovely little balcony, but unfortunately, it can't support much weight (the wood is warped and not even held down). I'd like some sort of planter that clips onto the iron, but haven't found anything. Any ideas?

I understand that boston will finally come into the league of big world-class cities: It is getting a W hotel.
