Hey Boston AT readers! You might remember Kyle's Jamaica Plain apartment; she profiled it while auditioning for her blogging position with AT Boston. We were so proud when we opened up Sunday's Boston Globe Magazine this week and saw Kyle's apartment featured in an article about her budget-friendly home, creative style and unique Redesign decorating business. The Globe article is an unusual departure from their typically much higher-end home profiles, recognizing that more readers want to see accessible design that they can relate to. Sunday's feature uses Kyle's colorful and what they termed "bohemian chic" apartment as an example of resourceful and restyled design. Check out what else the Boston Globe had to say about Kyle's home and business...

The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine editors realized that the current economic and environmental climate is ripe for Kyle's alternative decorating business, Cloud 9 Organize & Redesign. Using her client's existing belongings, Kyle magically transforms her client's spaces by creatively rearranging and restyling them (she also offers organizing, color consulting, and space planning services). We've seen her creative eye in person and she has this knack of knowing how to make difficult rooms work, and what to do to pull it all together. The fact that she's a personal organizer is great because she knows how to help you get rid of clutter and make your furniture breathe.

We couldn't help bragging about Kyle since we feel that you know her but not this side of her (and because we knew she'd be too shy to post about this herself). Congratulations Kyle! And for those of you craving a keen eye like hers but you don't have the budget or the desire to buy all new stuff, you should check out Kyle's Cloud 9 Organize and Redesign. And you'd get to meet Kyle in person too!

That's too cool! I read about her business and philosophy around the time when she posted her place, and I really love the idea of it and want to see more of that approach to one's home [and other things, for that matter]. The time is right for it.
