The bright colors and graphic elements of the spines of Wired magazines are put on display in this photo of the Wired conference room — it's a reminder that I miss my old magazines (I was quite the hoarder) and an interesting twist on the concept of organizing by color
...

I have over 50 years worth of national geographics. Love them. They make up the bottom of my bookshelves in my dining room.

I do like to keep some of my music magazine handy, mostly those with big long articles that makes good reading.
so mines are Waxpoetics an Wire mostly, though I am definitely adding Signal to Noise slowly and Sound projector should be back there soon.

I'm not sure they're organized by color, could be they are organized by issue.

I do have some magazines and journals 'on display' and readily available for reference in my office at work. I do have my many years of Wired on my shelves at work - their spines are pretty cool though I don't have them arranged by color.

Looks like a beautiful quilt (kind of like one by Kaffe Fassett).
