Magnetic Peel & Stick Chalkboard

vm_psc_group.jpg

For those of you who are in the market for a magnetic surface, but want a quicker solution than applying magnetic paint, we found these Magnetic Peel & Stick Chalkboard panels from Magnamagic...

We're less interested in the chalkboard aspect than the ability to create a large scale magnetic surface without painting. (Even for me the colors are a bit too "primary school".) But you could use magnets or double sided tape to adhere some Paper Source paper to the entire surface, as a pleasing backdrop for your magnetic surface.

The Magnetic Peel & Stick Chalkboard is sold by the linear foot ($12/foot; 44" wide). To order, click here.

Has anyone tried this?

It's almost looks like a Bang & Olufsen phone in those photos.

I love the idea! Agree on the "primary school colour" part though...

White "magnetic receptive sheeting" with an adhesive backing can be found www.custommagnets.com and other sites. Also google "magnetic whiteboard sheeting" or "magnetic adhesive sheeting" (as used for car signs). The sheeting comes in various widths and in rolls.... think I have seen black as an option as well. Many fun possibilities!!!!!
