Collapsible Vases from The Future Perfect

We spotted these ingenious collapsible vases, known as the Hope Forever Blossoming Vase, in the current issue of House Beautiful. What a perfect solution for small space living! They come in 11 styles and are quite affordable (more styles below the jump)...

The plastic vases, which apparently stand sturdy when filled with water, are $12/vase. This would make a fun, affordable housewarming treat (with flowers of course!).

I'm sorry... $12 for a plastic bag? I think the idea is a cute alternative for those plastic socks they usually stick on flowers you buy at a flower stand, but the price is steep IMHO.

I have two vases like this made by Jill Able that I bought a year ago. I must say, while they are made of plastic, I love that I can just put a few clear glass stones in the bottom, fill it with water, and throw flowers in them. When I am done they collapse completely flat and I can slide them in a drawer in the guest bedroom, bathroom, office, etc. I have about 100 glass vases which I love, but I use these most now that I have them. The only time I don't use them is for large arrangements, but I am usually picking up a bundle of tulips at the store or snipping greens from my garden so they are perfect.

Plus, everyone comments on them when they see them...

This is a great idea for RV'ers with limeted space. I have lived in my 5th wheel and this would have been great! Just fold it back up when done.

https://store.vazuusa.com has these type vases for as little as $4.98. I purchased 2 for a trip recently and they are fun. I wouldn't put anything very heavy in them but they certainly pack small.
