We're late to the game on this — but we're still a little fascinated! Uber-celebrity designer Karl Lagerfeld purchased a traditional brick home in Grand Isle, Vermont this past October. I work right near here! It's on one of the islands in Lake Champlain, but the house is right on the road... not very private. And there is nothing in Grand Isle... except for the beverage mart, not even a country store... also home of the smellest dairy farm I've ever had the pleasure to wiff.
