Color Inspiration: We live by the ocean, but the ocean in the Northeast is much different in color than that of the Caribbean. We're counting down the days until our Caribbean vacation, and longing for the turquoise water! Our bedroom wall color was chosen to represent that serene tropical feeling.

The colors of your walls look gorgeous with the white trim and the warmth of your wood. I also love how your art has the saturated but dated color scheme that sort of reminds me of a vintage postcard, which works well with that tropical vacation-inspired look. The only thing that I think could really make your room pop even more is the bedding. While I understand that you wanted to keep it neutral, and I agree that that's a good idea, your current bedding seems part of a different, more cottage-y, scheme. And not really a beach cottage, per se. . .
I think if you go for "breezier" bedding in crisp whites and pale metallic hues (gold, copper, bronze), that would REALLY do justice to those beautiful walls.

"Tulum Blue" I'm wondering if it's inspired by Tulum, Mexico.

I love that quilt so much. Could there maybe be a round up of traditional quilts in non-traditional colours? There seem to be a few popping up around the sites.

This is almost the exact color of the water in Grand Cayman. We did some parasailing there and the colors are awesome. Have a great time on your trip!
