Boston Design Center: Sale for the Public THIS Weekend!

BDCFrontPhoto.jpg

The Boston Design Center, New England's largest collection of interior design product showrooms, typically accessible to-the-trade only, opens its' doors to the general public this Saturday (10.18.08) and Sunday (10.19.08) for the "Treasure Hunt Luxury Sample Sale"...

Approximately 40 of the 87 showrooms will be open for business, with large discounts on sample furnishings and accessories. This is a great opportunity to check out some high-end design products for inspiration and maybe you'll find a great deal on a treasure! You'll need to pay a $10 admission fee; you can register in advance here. In the past, BDC has offered easy parking.

Click here to see a list of participating showrooms.

Has anyone had good luck finding treasures at this sale before?

Interesting.
For being a "Design Center" the building certainly is hideous.

The Design Center...not that impressed. I suppose it still serves a purpose.

Love love the outside of this building, but this photo shows the post-modern mess of an entrance and the lighting is awful. Have to see the whole thing to get an idea of the massiveness of this huge old warehouse, especially in its industrial port setting in South Boston.
