If Range's Make Your Own Great Steampunk Keyboard post last November on Unpluggd whetted your appetite like it did ours... but you need a little support from some pros, this workshop's for you. According to Somerville hacker lab Willoughby and Baltic, in their Modify your Keyboard workshop you can pimp out your own keyboard or even use one of theirs. You'll learn what makes a keyboard work, and then they'll help you work in the shop to make it into something spectacular. Replace the keys with old typewriter parts, build a case out of wood, or make the entire thing out of leather. It’s totally up to you! And it will make your co-workers totally jealous.

Sorry for the same-day notice but the workshop starts tonight and meets three Tuesdays. We only just found out about it this weekend and hate to post this so late, maybe they'll let you come for two sessions if you can't make tonight.
