If you have a vintage-style kitchen, the more modern chrome-style barstools don't fit in. Its rare that you see antique chairs at bar-height, but here's a pair. An auction house in Acushnet has two hand carved Chippendale high-back stools that would look great in an antique kitchen, or paint them gloss white or black for an unexpected old-meets-new look at your kitchen island. We also found a vintage chifferobe, rugs from Anthropologie and Pottery Barn, 4 Philippe Starck Bubble Club chairs, and some vintage French upholstered chairs that are a steal.
