It really takes two shelves to replicate a book — one left oriented shelf, and one right oriented shelf.
Pagina is made of lacquered wood and is available in 2 colors: White (with Maple shelves and base) or Blue (with dark blue shelves and base). Shelves are movable.

It's really beautiful, but when you have a book problem (toooooo many books), it seems that it wastes a lot of space.

Looks more like a giant "pagina" than a giant book.
Just sayin'.

Cool concept. Fun.
But.
People that actually read and own a lot of books, know that shelf space is a precious commodity. This bookshelf may do the job for those who want to pass themselves off as bookish. But true literati would ask, "Where do I find the space to place another 3 units?

Can I get one shaped like a book on tape?

Wonder if the back is finished? If so, it works as a pretty cool room divider in a loft. I agree it doesn't hold enough but it would look great with objects and art books in it.

I agree with fishgirl. If this was on wheels and finished in the back, it would be quite versatile as a room divider.
