What is your one favorite element in your small, cool home? My favorite element is the great sunlight exposure as there’s windows on 3 sides of the unit.

What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your small home? The living/dining room layout did not allow for a separate dining table. We finally found the right coffee/dining table combo after researching on AT. The Calligaris coffee table pops up and expands to easily fit 4 people for a nice sit down dinner.

We have the same Caligaris table. It's an amazing little piece.

The wall behind the sofa looks as if it's painted. And then you look close, and it's wallpaper, and it looks great in the space. I like how the TV is situated in the bedroom, also.

Hi everyone,

This is Happy Condo. Thanks for all the positive and encouraging comments. The sofa is from Old Hickory Tannery:

And the sideboard was a Salvation Army treasure.

I gave it a Thumbs Up for the idiosyncratic but cohesive blend of antiques and modern pieces, and for the rich palette of browns and dark reds, and the beautiful accessories (the kitchen light especially).

However, I think it needs a bit of a kick. The living room looks too strict. I'd like to see the furniture placed at different angles in off-balance places. It would make the space more energetic.

Unusual that the white walls contribute to the warm, cosy feeling of the place.

I like the side tables near the couch. Where did they come from?

I totally agree with Blandwagon on the furniture placement in the living room. But apart from that ... I LOVE IT! I really am impressed and inspired with your blend of old and new. I love antiques, but I want to mix it up with more contemporary pieces and you have inspired me. And that sofa? Yes .. it is ALL about the sofa. I thought I had to have Anthropologie's leather sofa until I saw this stunner. Thanks for sharing the source! Oh, and the papered wall behind it? Another great inspiration! Thanks!! Great place!!

Hi Elizcrtv,

The side tables near the couch was from Pottery Barn. Just checked on their site and I don't think they carry them anymore. Do give them a try, there might be other newer tables that interests you. Good luck!
